Wrexham promoted to League OneBeat Forest Green Rovers 6-0Lee knew they were going upWHAT HAPPENED?
Lee explained how, after Wrexham scored their last goal of the 6-0 win against Forest Green Rovers, Eoghan O'Connell told him that MK Dons and Barrow were losing. Wrexham needed both sides to drop points and to win their game in order to go up on Saturday. Mansfield beat MK Dons and Gillingham beat Barrow to send the Red Dragons up.

Speaking to Wrexham's YouTube channel, Lee said: "It is a special feeling. It was quite hard on the pitch to know what was happening because I didn't know anything until we scored the sixth and Eoghan O’Connell came up to me and said [MK Dons and Barrow] were both losing. I don’t know how he knew, maybe he asked a fan!
"As soon as we saw the fans start to crowd around the pitch, we thought: 'Something good is happening here'. We thought we might have done it here.
"It is an incredible feeling and it is even better because we didn't expect it today. Obviously results went our way and we took care of our business. It is such a special feeling."
DID YOU KNOW?
Wrexham will compete in League One next season for the first time since 2005. The Red Dragons were relegated after a points deduction for entering administration. Wrexham will be dreaming of avoiding the drop next time around and will instead be hoping for a third consecutive promotion.

Wrexham still have an outside chance of winning the League Two title. Stockport need just one win to clinch the title but it is not mathematically impossible for Phil Parkinson's team to win the crown.
