The 30-year-old set up the Harry Kane Foundation to help support young people, normalise conversations on mental health, tackle stigma and promote habits that build mental resilience and emotional wellbeing. When asked about the setbacks he had had early in his career, including being released by clubs, Kane said: "That's when I look back, I had to show a lot of strength, a lot of self-belief, a lot of resilience in those moments. I was able to get things off my chest [to my family] and that allowed me to focus on what I needed to do, work harder and ultimately turn into the player I am now."
He added: "Everyone goes through different moments in their life, ups and downs. It's just when you have those downs, you don't let things get carried away, you have to know or learn things to do to help you in those moments."

Kane, who has been breaking records in the Bundesliga since his summer move from Tottenham to Bayern in 2023, is more than proving his worth both on and off the pitch. The striker is leading by example among his team-mates with his goalscoring efforts and 17 schools in England are benefitting from Harry Kane's Foundation' support, using the Healthy Minds training and curriculum in tandem with charity Bounce Forward.
